Aromas of blackberry, cherry, currant and lightly toasted oak. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh, clean finish. Very refined. A tad too short to merit outstanding. Best after 2010. 10,000 cases made.

Ruby-red. Ripe aromas of currant, plum syrup and tobacco. Fat and sweet, with lovely fruit. Could use a bit more grip but there’s no shortage of flavor. Finishes with good length. This seems fresher today than the early sample I tasted last spring.
