Reticent but highly nuanced nose suggests white peach, hawthorn and acacia flower. Sweet, lush and fine-grained, with sharply delineated flavors of white peach and lime. Wonderfully concentrated, complex premier cru, finishing with superb elegance and grip. Very long and subtle on the back end. Wait four or five years on this one. These vines, planted on classic argilo-calcaire soil on the mid-slope, average 52 years of age, according to Boudot. -- Stephen Tanzer
