Medium red. Redcurrant and earth on the slightly reduced nose; not showing quite the floral character or high pitch of the Suchots. Then very sweet but a bit undifferentiated on the palate; in a chunkier style than the last couple of samples but dense and broad, with the stuffing to support its substantial dusty tannins. A note of chocolate runs from the palate through the aftertaste.
