Description

In the heart of Pauillac , the vineyard of Château Dauprat which is home to some of the grea-test names in wine including Latour, Pichon Comtesse and Lynch Bages. It is in these vineyards that Cabernet’s true character is revealed through Pauillac. Dauprat stretches over 2 acres and is surrounded by Chateau Latour, Chateau Pichon Comtesse de Lalande and Chateau Lynch-Bages. The Meffre family, the owners of the estate, have put a lot of work into the vines and the winery, which, associated with an exceptional terroir, results in wines of great character each year.

Deep dark-red color. Ripe fruits for the nose, discreetly woody. The mouth is intense with nice tannins and a generous expression of ripe red fruits. A charming final, going on blackcurrant and blackberry. -Distributor’s Notes
