2010 Domaine Rossignol-Fevrier Volnay Les Gigottes

Volnay is known for producing some of Burgundy's most feminine and velvety textured wines. This single vineyard Volnay from the "Les Gigottes" vineyard demonstrates elegance with its red berries flavors and aromas of violets and cherry. Frédéric Rossignol started to apply biodynamic methods to the vineyard years ago, allowing him to declare the 2011 crop under the biodynamic flag, a long, difficult, and strictly controlled certification process.
