The 2010 Chardonnay is a big, rich wine layered with tangerine, apricots, flowers and honeysuckle. The 2010 spent 11 months in French oak barrels (90% new) with lees stirring once a week, both of which add to the volume and density of the fruit. Hints of sweet French oak wrap around the delineated, generous finish. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. –Antonio Galloni
