Founded by Jean Richard in 1938, and named for his son Henri, Domaine Henri Richard is currently owned by Jean’s grand-daughter Margaret Richard-Bastien and managed by Patrick Maroiller, a cutting edge vigneron & cellar master. The fourth generation is also involved in the family’s wine production with Margaret’s children, Richard & Sarah Bastien, assisting with oenology, consulting and international trade. The domaine is famous for producing complex, fresh, and fruity wines capable of aging gracefully for decades. An environmentally friendly estate, Domaine Henri Richard is certified by ECOCERT and is recognized for organic & bio-dynamic farming since 2000.
