2011 Domaine Rossignol-Trapet Gevrey-Chambertin Petite Chapelle

Burghound (BH)

This is even more elegant, cool and aromatically refined with its essence of red pinot fruit with really pretty whispers of wet stone and rose petal. There is excellent detail and punch to the mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that possess fine depth and even better length on the moderately austere finish. I very much like the balance and this is textbook Petite Chapelle.
