The Barbera d’Alba vines are located in Monforte d’Alba, with south-western exposure at about 500 m a.s.l., next to the winery, on the hill side called Ferrione. The soil is a mix of clay and calcareous marls. They use a simple Guyot as the training system. — Importer notes
