A deep ruby red color with aromas of dark cherry, baked plum and cassis while lifted and full of bright fruit aromas; followed by toasted oak spices, dark chocolate/cocoa and sage flower to bay laurel in the back ground. The palate is juicy round and enticing showing a focused mid palate and polished tannins, while finishing with fruit cake and licorice notes. Best from 2015 to 2022. –Wine Tasting Notes
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Tre Vigneti is the softest and most accessible of the Cabernet Sauvignons, with a dark purple color, notes of blackcurrants and creamy oak, a luscious, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, excellent purity, and good texture and length.
