Explosive aromas of quince, white flowers such as hawthorn blossom and acacia, and delicate oak are followed by rich, persistently fresh flavors of spice, apples, and minerals, framed by Guigal’s trademark silkiness. The wine is delicious to drink young, and will hold well for 3-5 years from the vintage. -Distributor’s Notes
A blend of 95% Marsanne and 5% Roussanne, the 2013 Crozes Hermitage Blanc is also outstanding. Almond paste, crushed rock, white flower and peachy notes all flow to a medium-bodied, elegant and pure 2013 white that will drink well for 3-5 years.
