I loved the 2013 Crozes Hermitage (aging in 3-year-old barrels and foudres), and it will be interesting to see how it evolves with another year or more in barrel. Giving up lots of pepper, crushed rock, smoked earth and darker berry fruit, it has terrific purity, medium-bodied depth and bright acidity. It’s a classic Crozes Hermitage that will have a decade or more of longevity.
