Distributor’s Notes:
Tasting Notes: Dark scarlet in color, with a seductive bouquet of dark fruit and cherries. On the palate, this wine is persistent, with savors of chocolate and dark fruit; supple tannins. This wine is an excellent choice for all occasions. Can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with tapas, grilled meats, spicy entrees, and even codfish.
Varietal Composition: 70% Grenache (30 years old), 20% Syrah (20 years old), 10% Mourvèdre (30 years old)
Vinification: The harvest is performed manually at full phenolic maturity, after which the grapes are pressed gently. The alcoholic fermentation is carried out by indigenous yeasts, and maceration goes on for about 4-5 weeks. The wine is aged in concrete tanks, resulting in rich and fruity wines that reflect the terroir and the personality of the grapes.
