As is its tradition, this wine remains drenched in flint and stone-fruits, while slathered in rich textures and vibrant acidity. As is the case with the Estate’s Pinot Noir bottling, the Chardonnay has asserted itself with a beautiful high tone that persists over this wine, lifting its every moment, and narrating a classic, top-flight California Chardonnay. The 2015 Chardonnay Estate Vineyard reveals a provocative nose of ripe apricots, pink grapefruit, honeysuckle and orange blossoms with suggestions of brioche, beeswax and cashews.
