Charles Bieler has been crafting his delicious Provençal rosé, Bieler Père et Fils Sabine, for the last 5 years. Named for his daughter, Sabine, who was born the same year as the wine’s first vintage, this rosé honors Charles’ father, Philippe, who introduced he and his sister to the wine business. This rosé continues the Bieler family reputation that was built over 13 years at Chateau Routas and the last three years with Three Thieves.
High-pitched, mineral-tinged aromas of fresh red berries, lavender and white pepper. Clean, racy and sharply focused, conveying a weightless quality to the strawberry and orange zest flavors. Closes taut, minerally and long, displaying resonating red fruit and floral character. Quintessential pink Provence wine that’s ridiculously easy to drink too much of, if such a thing were possible, and it’s a crazy value to boot.
