2015 Chateau de la Maltroye Chassagne-Montrachet Clos du Chateau 1er Cru [Future Arrival]

A distinctly smoky nose consists of pear liqueur, petrol and a floral top note. There is equally good intensity and punch if not quite the same volume or mid-palate density, all wrapped in a lemony and bone dry finish that is also hugely long. At least some patience will be required here as well. -Allen Meadows, Burghound
