The 2015 Chablis 1Er Cru Montmains, which comes from parcels located in Butteaux, Fôret and Montmains itself, had a pleasant reductive note on the nose that did not seem to impede the terroir expression. The palate is taut and focused, fresh right from the start with a crisp line of acidity, full of energy and tension. Dare I say, this is more like a 2014 on the finish thanks to its tension. This is certainly worth seeking out. – Neal Martin – 31.08.16

Here too there a whisper of exoticism to the peach, apricot, acacia blossom and ocean breeze scents. Otherwise there is good energy and detail to the elegantly textured middle weight flavors that exhibit just a bit more minerality and depth on the refreshing and lemony finale.
