This is tightly coiled now, but the range of juicy tangerine, white peach and white ginger notes should unfurl soon enough, carried by a mouthwatering quinine note and ending with a light orange blossom hint on the finish. Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now through 2026. -JM (03/2021)
Brightness and serenity to this white with lemon rind and pear skin, highlighting the cooked-apple character. Medium to full body, bright acidity and a vivid finish. -James Suckling (03/26/2019)
A wine that sells for a song (at least in the US market), the 2018 Clos des Lunes Lune d’Argent Blanc checks in as 70% Sémillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc that’s fermented in tank and aged in 25% new oak. Beautiful apple, citrus blossom, tart citrus, and a touch of minerality all emerge from this medium-bodied, vibrant white that builds with time in the glass. It’s another terrific white from this team that’s going to shine on the dinner table. -Jeb Dunnuck (05/01/2019)
