Here the citrus component is much more restrained though not imperceptible on the nose of acacia blossom and green apple scents. The racy, intense and focused medium-bodied flavors possess a more refined mouthfeel, all wrapped in a clean, dry and even more complex finale. This lovely effort is sufficiently tightly wound to require up to a decade of cellaring to reach its peak, yet it should drink well after 3 to 4 years. -Allen Meadows (06/10/2020)
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Tremblots Vieilles Vignes contains some fruit from the “Haut Densité” vines. It took almost a year to completely ferment. The nose offers well-defined scents of crushed limestone and apple blossom, taut and quite focused. The palate is well balanced with a saline entry, fine weight in the mouth and good density toward the finish. This shows a lot of potential. -Neal Martin (01/2020)
