The Pol Roger estate is located in the heart of the Champagne region, in Epernay, where the Roger family began making their exceptional Champagne 150 years ago. Light yellow, with a steady bead. Toasty pit fruits and lemon rind on the nose, with a suave undercurrent of candied flowers. Bitter peach skin and pear flavors are complicated by notes of floral honey and dried flowers, with a touch of orange rind on the back. Leaves a gently tangy citrus quality behind on the powerful, smoky finish.
A mix of floral, apple and berry aromas and flavors highlight this firmly structured, elegant bubbly, which is harmonious and vibrant, with a lingering finish.
