2014 Bordeaux En Primeur

The Wine Cellarage travelled to Bordeaux in early April to taste the 2014 vintage and we came away quite impressed. The overall sense of freshness, pronounced fruit and wonderful structure, make 2014 a more traditional vintage. It is by far the best vintage since the prodigious 2010, offering wines that are built to go the long haul, Lafite, Latour, Haut Brion, Cos D’Estournel, Cheval Blanc to name a few…but in general this will be a vintage to enjoy over the next 5 to 15 years.
