This vintage is full, deep, and extremely aromatic with complementary notes of florals, black fruits, and spices.

From James Suckling: “Aromas of blackberries, plums, peppercorns, walnuts and toasted bread. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, silky tannins. Excellent freshness with a delicious, creamy and spicy finish. 75% merlot and 25% cabernet franc. Drink after 2024.”

  About the Producer

Jean-Baptiste Audy purchased the vineyard that would become Clos du Clocher in 1924. It is still family-owned, and has produced several top-rated vintages in recent years. The terroir is outstanding, even for Pomerol, with grapes displaying complexity and intensity. The final blends for their wines are selected in collaboration with Clos du Clocher and Michel Rolland’s team, and are always layered with unique and interesting characteristics.
